I found a broken one a few days ago and opened it.I have not the slightest clue how it works.If someone could help me that would be appreciated.

The pump fills the air tank/trigger. Pressing the button releases air.

They operate on the same valve system that the SS2 uses.
When you pull the trigger, a small amount of air escapes out the back and the movement of air opens the 1-way valve, allowing the tank to pressurize the barrel.
