If pink darts have a tendency to retain a new shape when manipulated, will they work well in a nested brass gun since there is the smaller size of brass?

You need to clarify your question a bit... Do you mean will they WORK in nested brass? Or are you worried about the 17/32 brass putting enough constriction on the dart to permanently shrink it and hence worsen its performance? The answer to the first variant is yes, it works fine, at least according to Cx's article. To the second variant, it doesn't seem like there have been any complaints, so I think you're fine.
