Well my brothers had his titan for a while, and after I saw the mod for it I wanted to work on it. So after a while he gave me permission to mod it. My problem is that when taking the gun apart, the orange ring at the end of the main gun keeps the gun from being taken aprat completly. I could probaly saw it off, but like I said its not mine. What did everyone else do???

You don't have to open the gun... Don't worry about the overpressure release... you can still get 170-185 feet with it, and the balls don't really bother me.

Can you pop it off with a screwdriver or knife? Thats what I did with guns that had annoying rings like that, tho I havent got a Titan yet.

Well I do that too, for most of my guns, but it looks like its glued on...

Wait... he wants to open the gun right? Or get off the barrel? If he wants to open the gun, that's not necessary.

Saw a slit on the bottom that goes fully through the orange ring and just pry it off with a flathead screwdriver.I don't own a Titan but seeing as people say it's glued on that's what you would do.

There's no reason to plug the op release valve, it shoots way above the average for snioe weapons, anyway. Just cut the air restrictor out and put a barrel on.

I just opened mine up the other day and it was no problem. After taking out the screws simply work one of the sections back and forth a bit applying little pressure and it will slide out, no cutting required. Just side it back in once you've taken out the balls.

Mine required medium force to open the fist time, and only left a few marks.
