I opened up my bbb the other day because i suspected something was jammed in the barrel, and of course, there was a stefan smashed into the plunger. I dremmeled out the inside of the barrel and put it all back together, and i got about 5 feet from it. I opened it up again and hot glued the barrel part to the main part of the gun, and i get about 10-13 feet...... any help?

When you said dremeled i'm guessing that you did a pvc barrle mod right? Well, I did that to my NF and tried fitting a "shell" kind of thing (let's not go there please) and I ended up wanting to paint it. I took it apart, the seal broke and I ended up putting a new barrle on it.

So, this might have happened:
1. Your seal from the glunger to the barrel broke.
2. If you have a barrel that is longer than 2 feet then it might be tooo heavy and it needs support thus forth...it broke the seal.
and 3. well it's just crapped up and I'm sorry for your luck.

what kind of barrel does it have?

i don't understand why you dremeled out the barrel because of a stuck stefan, but i suspect you took off too much material and now the barrel is too loose. how do stefans fit in the barrel now?

i kept the original barrel on. I dremmeled out the inside of the barrel so that i could fit megas in there and so darts would have a nicer fit.

The gun shoots quite well now, but it is extremely hard to get the ing mechanism to catch. I usually have to it 3-5 times in order for it to catch.

Don't triple post. And if a stefan got lodged in the plunger tube, wouldn't it be logical to take the gun apart and take it out?

If it's too hard to catch, there's a possibility that the catch spring may have kind of "snagged" on the shell when you closed it. If anyone finds internal pics of a BBB, I'll show you what I mean. Or, just figure it out.

This is why Nerf World's mod directory is good:
http://www.tlmhome.web1000.com/bbb.htm
and yes, I do know that the link was down earlier.
