All that air is going somewhere...

Perhaps it is leaking through one of the two valves. I don't know if you could fix that, but it is definitely leaking somewhere. It's obvious (by your water test) that the leak is not in the bladder/pump setup. It must be leaking after you pull the trigger, which means the problem could be in the valves, tubing after the valves, or piston.

Maybe you could try to listen closely when you fire it. Try to listen for air rushing out somewhere other than the end of the piston.

Edit: How fast is the ROF? Is it slower than after it stopped working well?

I'll try listening closely again to see if there is a leak and i know it has to be somewhere after the air chamber. The ROF hasn't changed at all (when it works), but sometimes it just hisses (bout 1/2 the time).

I once saw an old lady slip and fall on a sidewalk and i laughed. Then i thought, what if i was an ant and she fell on me. Then it didn't seem quite so funny.

Your problem is that your black little foam thing is simply "not on track". It is not posistioned correctly. It must be on the little grooves in the hole after you take the turret out. I had the same exact problem with mine. Take the turret out line the foam black piece up again and you are set.

What foam black thing? Where is it at?

Maybe you forgot to put it back in. It is the little plastic black tube at the top front of the internals. It has a piece of black foam at the front which has two holes in it. Its purpose is to rub against the red turret and make a seal. If that piece is missing or not installed correctly, your gun won't work correctly.

I still think there is a leak somewhere, because even if that piece is missing, the turret still should advance properly, it will just have no range. Anyways, try to fix/find that black tube and get it installed correctly first.

I know the tube your talking about now and I've had that inserted in the correct position the whole time. And even if that was out I would still hear the pops from the shots, which i don't.

Any chance you can send a picture of your internals?

Any chance you can tell me how to add pictures to a reply without it being a link?

Is the piston piece in properly? It's the black piece with screws above the clear tube that has a spring.I can't tell from the pics.
Other than that...everything looks ok, I have no idea what's wrong.

I was just reading through this topic and unless I read something he said wrong I think I know the answer. You said It only shoots 4 or 5 shots and when asked if the barrel rotates only that number of times you said yes. So im thinking that it is skipping. When the barrell stops rotating does the air comeout of an empty barrel?

No...thats not the problem. You know how the whole piston thing moves back and forth? Well, the piston only moves 4 or 5 times. My first thought was that it was skipping, but then I realized it wasn't shooting when the barrel stopped spinning. And i'm pretty sure the black peice was always in place.

Vblast, I looked at the pictures, and as far as I can tell, everything is fine. I now believe that you should pump up the gun (without closing the case) and put your ear up to that valve that the trigger presses. Pull the trigger and listen/feel for air rushing out the top of that valve.

That valve could be leaking the air when you pull the trigger, only allow some of the air from the tank to reach the piston mech.

That's my best and final guess.

That's it!!! I can hear the air coming from that little valve. The only problem now is how do I fix that and still keep the trigger able to be pressed? Anyone?

I would try spraying WD-40, or silicon lubricant down into the valve from the rod side. If that doesn't work, there is nothing you can do about it, besides cutting it open and trying to fix whatever is broken about it.

Or, you could just sell the bladder to Thirst...
