I've finally completed my brushless Nerf Nemesis project, built for 2300 KV 2205 Racerstar motors.  I designed and printed an insert for the stock cage, to be affixed with methyl methacrylate glue, and several sets of wheels.  Currently getting 110 FPS with the wheels I have now but significantly higher crush wheels are in development.

There is no such thing as overkill. There is only cost efficiency.

Saw this on NMW; are you getting 170 with it now? Is it shooting HIRs still or did you convert to darts? If HIRs, how do they like 170?

170? Negative, I just managed to hit 110 with it finally. It still fires HIRs.

As of 11-11-18 it is now hitting my goal velocity of 130 FPS average.

I've heard coop say he hit around 130 fps with stock wheels and motors with a rewire and a 3s.

That is correct, I was also hitting 130 with stock motors and a 3s rewire. However, this modification was done to solve the issue of flywheel slippage.
