I've been thinking about my extra brass, and I was interested in what you lovely people thought about using brass as part of a hopper system as to provide a better air seal. I was thinking that if you put brass inside the actual barrel, the vertical portion of the hopper, and the nub that is connected to the blaster itself. Would this be a good way of preserving more air, or is the seal fine enough?

What part of the hopper system are you planning to improve with this? A hopper has zero moving parts and no where for air to leak besides out the barrel. I'm going to need a little more information on what you're trying to describe.
