I'm a nerfer up in North Phoenix and I gotta say I'm a little sick of the lack of wars in the state in general. If I can get some interest on here I'd like to try and put something together. I'd like to keep this event free so it would probably be in a park somewhere so depending on how fast I can get this together it might need to wait a couple months through the summer. I'm open to ideas and help so please share any thoughts and let's make this happen.

Hey, I've seen this post for a little while now, and just wanted to let you know I'm interested. If we can get some more people to come, we can plan a war.

We are in too.  Hopefully after summer is over and it cools down we can have a war.

Right, the 110°+ weather would be bad for a war! BTW, exactly what type of war would this be? Personally, I only have access to stock and superstock style blasters at the moment.

We only have stock or close to stock blasters as well. We also only do normal darts. ie kosh, waffle head, accufake, z tip darts. So that would be my choice, but I am open to other options.

Hopefully the OP 464 logs back on as he hasn't been here since April.

I'm cool with that too. I only use full length darts such as accufakes and a few blasters that use rival rounds anyways.

Yeah, definitely superstock rules with maybe some stock rounds if any younger kids come but stock ammo modified blasters as a general rule.

Ok cool. I can't remember is the typical superstock FPS limit 120 or 150?

The way I look at it if you are not willing to shoot yourself at point blank range than it is too powerful.

Yeah I agree, The general rules I've seen are 150 fps. I'd say as far as ammo any soft head full length darts and any professionally made half length darts like worker darts. As long as we aren't leaving bruises we're good.

Do you think around the end of September would be a good time?

End of September can go either way. October is a much safer bet.

ArizonaNerfMan, do you think it would be good to set up some kind of a social media page to try to find more participants?

I was planning on reaching out to Arizona Nerf League on Facebook to see if whoever runs that page would like to help raise awareness but I definitely think we should make a page or a group of our own so we can market ourselves. Something along the lines of Phoenix Arizona nerf club maybe.

Do we know exactly when it would be this month? My scheduled for October is pretty booked, so I dont know if I would be able to make it depending on the date.

Hi guys, sorry I havent posted in a while, I was waiting to see how some things worked out. I found a Phoenix based group on Facebook called southwest nerf club. Theyre fairly active and just planned a war for December first at freestone park in Gilbert. If youre interested you should go request to join

I know this is really late, but did you guys make it to a SWNC war? I made it to one and it was awesome! I have been fairly active on the fb page too.

It should. They just dont allow hard tip darts. Some dudes has 230 fps brass buzz bees and they allow it. Just use logic when using high fps blastrers. Eye pro is needed obviously.
