is there any way to make your own chronograph with a Chromebook and an arduino

Probably, I am sure you will need some extra hardware though. The fancy printed housing is not required, you just need to mount the sensors a fixed, known distance apart. You could probably do it with a piece of pipe.

NH has a long history of never deleting posts, or doing so under only exceptional circumstances (The great spam bot invasion being one).

 

It's no big deal to ask a question and have it answered, and it helps the search results for future searchers/askers. I'm not a fan of the reddit-mentality that allows deletion of posts, user names, and all kinds of stuff. It hurts future searches, which in this case, hurts the community. Even if you're done with a post or a user name, deleting the stuff doesn't help anyone.
