Hi I am a noob I have an orange Elite XD Alpha Trooper. Elite Alpha Troopers are really expensive now. I am a noob and I am looking for a performance mod that is easy and won't break my gun. The Alpha Trooper has poor performance so I want to upgrade it to make it better. I know I can get a Retaliator that is cheaper and has better stock performance but I like that the alpha trooper has the pump action for easy fast fire rate unlike the Retaliator. So please tell me the BEST easy performance mod that won't break my gun. Thanks
What Elite Alpha Trooper XD mod should I do?

Once again, blasterparts.uk has a kit, so does omw. Learn how to do a sealed brass breach, it’s not that hard

If you want maximum performance for a pump-action mag fed springer, it is hard to beat a Caliburn for the price vs. performance.
If you are set on using the EAT, a brass breech and a new spring should get you going. Building the brass breech WILL destroy the blaster unless you finish the breech - you have to bore out the stock breech/barrel and once you have done that there is no turning back.

I don't have the skill or materials for a brass breech and the internet wasn't helpful with showing me how to do it anyways. Is there any good springs for the alpha trooper maybe a upgraded catch spring to match the power of the upgraded spring??

Wait, is it an Elite Alpha Trooper or an Alpha Trooper?
An Elite Alpha trooper is worth modding, you can put a better spring in (and a couple other parts) and expect at least a bump in performance.
An Alpha Trooper is reverse plunger and the easiest way to make it worthwhile is to sell it and buy a retaliator.
As for the breech, one of the best guides for a sleeper breech is right here on NH. The process will be similar/the same for an EAT as it is an LS, the bolt is just going to be somewhat different; you don't need to do the fancy cut in the brass though. The guide for an angel breech is here somewhere too, but won't be as modern a system. If you're feeling rich, there are kits like this one, but they don't work with long darts.
