Hey I know there is a Hammershot mod on here to remove the AR's but I here it is a bad unnecessary mod. So I already have a Hammershot with a 7kg spring removed barrel posts and a removed AR, I did the AR removal before I found out about it's uselessness. But I wanna know what is the best performance upgrade I can do on the Hammershot without breaking it or spending 100 bucks. I heard people say to just use pvc pipe or a 8 kg spring but I don't know which is better or if there is something better. But take into consideration that I suck at modding and I am A noob.

Second off- if you want absolute performance, gavinfuzzy or monkeymods eight shot cylinders are a good place to start, then get a blasterparts.uk metal tuning kit, they come with a mainspring, metal priming hammer, and metal trigger. Both the eight-shot cylinders and the metal tuning kit are drop-in kits that require little to no shell cutting or modding experience and work together

Not really? It's a "what mod should I do" post, not a "which blaster is better" post, which are the banned variety.

You don't. NH has a long history of never deleting anything. It helps keep the discussion honest.

 

To your OP - I'm not sure whether an 8kg spring will be significantly better than your 7kg spring. A PVC/CPVC spacer will probably be more effective (and cheaper), assuming you can make one. I'm also not sure how you could spend $100 on performance mods for a hammershot, what you've done is pretty much the extant of what can be done; you could get a bigger turret but that isn't strictly "performance". Maybe rebarrel it as well, but that'd be tough to do properly. Cosmetic mods, sure. Go blow $100 on a bunch of 3d printed external kits.

Or spend 23 dollars on the tuning kit and 27 dollars on a gavinfuzzy cylinder that comes with a spacer
