Here, we have a gel-ball claymore sold by NFStrike/LighTake and it's proven to be capable of launching Rival rounds/Stefans/anything you can put inside. I also noticed that it had a belt loop and the comments section mentioned the use of this device like a "suicide vest" and remotely "detonating" them from the chest or belt.

My question is, how do you think the rules, should this item be common and/or the suicide-vest tactic be used, should work? Would there be a limit as to how many Claymores you can mount on yourself? Are you going to ban them from being used in a vest or belt? Are you going to not allow them in wars? Are you going to count the "detonation" as a self-tag? Or not because claymores are directional in their blast? Ban the tripwire for safety? Etc.

Personally, I'd allow them (though perhaps only for a round or so) just to mess around with. If people didn't like it, I'd retire it for the day. Let us know how using it goes!

Thoughts:

- I wouldn't use the tripwire. That's just asking for problems

- Yeah, I think running it as a "suicide vest" might be fun, but that would certainly count as a self-tag. If you used a belt that you throw or something, that wouldn't be a self-tag.

- I think a maximum of 2? More than that is probably gonna' be pretty annoying to mount on your person anyway.

- I dislike the real-steel look of it, but I know that it's a market choice and also wouldn't be as camouflaged should we paint it a safer color. Mainly for police reasons I wouldn't use these in outdoor/semi-public games. I guess Canada has a different situation up there, so use your own discretion.

I dont see why this wouldnt count as any other blaster. You want to try to cover youself in a dozen of these and run into a group and blow them all at once for a few tags? Be my guest, Im not helping you reload. Its just like carrying a dozen absolvered drainblasters or whatever.

Agreed on the trip wire and the too real look. Use a trip sensor or something and paint it blue (which I understand is the internationally recognised inert-device color).

Strap the mine to your forehead and mount the remote on your primary.  No need to make a masterkey anymore.
