i just recently took apart my dead retaliator and added its spring to my longshot then i got the idea huh can i minimize the lonshot then put in the dart thing from the retaliator into the longshot to eliminate the problem of the chambering of elite darts is that possible or am i being stupid. the image is of the retaliator barrel attachment spot because it has the "lock" that all elite springers have

The problem in chambering elites, so I understand, is the LS breech itself. The dart tooth inside is incompatible. You need to remove it entirely.

i know that and in minimization i meant cut the front barrel to the chamber and then remove the chamber and replace it with the retaliator  chamber/dart tooth mechanism my issue is am i being TOO ambitious or is it within the ball park of possible and if it is within the ball park of possible what would i need outside of a longshot retaliator and a saw and screw driver

So, if I am understanding you correctly:

1. You really can't replace the LS breech with the retaliator breech. The nubs on top that connect with the boltsled are not the same and thus won't work with the LS boltsled (and vice versa)

2. The LS boltsled will not easily work with the retaliator dart tooth in the chambering area (apologies, I mislabeled above).

3. You can chamber elites/other darts by removing the dart post/remnants of the AR inside the LS breech tube. This requires a drill and/or a screwdriver and a hammer.

4. You can cut the front of your LS down if you want the aesthetics and put the retaliator barrel attachment head (that barrel attachments go on) in the front of wherever you cut, so long as it lines up with the path of the dart.

Answering in legible sentences would help me.

so the longshot's elite dart chambering problem is not caused by the dart tooth but the breech.

also is it possible to put a demolisher flywheel cage into a retaliator shell and configure the shell to hold: a drone lipo, a demolisher pusher mechanism, and a demolisher trigger

Brass breeches work with elites and longshots, do one of those and ditch all these teeth.

You cant just get one, you have to make it. Usually 9/16 and 17/32 nested. I did a sleeper and like it, needing that special bit is a tad of a pain but you could maybe do it without.

Depends on the copper pipe - the brass we use has 1/64" walls and nests nearly perfectly. The brass used is meant for hobbiests, K&S engineering brand; usually available lots of places locally (I've seen it at hobby stores, craft stores, and hardware stores; probably not HD/Lowes though) but here & here on amazon. You need a dremel to cut the stuff.

Does it fit a dart? Does something else nest over it perfectly?

There is a reason we use materials we use and do not use materials we do not use. IIRC some size of Copper is passable but not ideal for a barrel. I do not know if you can make a breach with it easily, maybe using a copper fitting you could make a short breach. You would still need a dremel.

Autocorrect. Nest over it perfectly - does another piece of *something* slide smoothly over the pipe without leaving space for air to escape? If nothing does, you will need to machine something to fit perfectly over the pipe, or the pipe to fit perfectly within something. Odds are good some size of brass would work, it comes in 1/32 inch increments.

Thought I'd replied. Putting the demo into the retal will be easiest if you can just wrap the retal around the intact demo. I'm not sure thats actually possible though, so you'd probably be using pieces of retal as decoration.

And feeding darts into the cage... how? If you want a semi-auto you need to move basically the whole demo into the retal. If not, yeah you can just slap the cage on the front and call it a day.

i'm planning on feeding the darts with the retal mag well and putting the cage into the space on the front and find a way to add the demo pusher and rev trigger mechanics and putting a drone lipo into the stock attachment point hence why i was wondering if I could put the retal barrel attachment/chamber/dart tooth into the longshot and cutting the longshot down
