Just as the title says. What do you all think the rarest blasters and attachments are?

Theirs a difference between rare and valuable. For rare - i'm more familiar with blasters in terms of vintage.

Zap snaps are stupid rare - since they were recalled from store shelves due to safety hazards. My younger self got some of those for my birthday - but they didn't survive my childhood.

I've only seen 2 cycletrons in my life, only one nerf stinger and I also own a single shot air max 1 blaster (shot the little air planes) - that not even nerf could identify or even name ( emailed them and stumped the entire corporation). The hydro-blastzooka's are few and far between as well.

Also, don't forget the noobapotamous. That thing is one-of-a-kind.
In all seriousness, in my opinion the nerf prototypes are the rarest "nerf blasters". There is probably only one pre production run with THAT EXACT paint job and THAT EXACT little tweak to the barrel.

In terms of rare blasters that were put up on sale, I'd say the Crimsion (or red-strike) Longshot. However, the original sharpshooter would also be pretty rare (first dart blaster). I'd also consider orange trigger jolts and big shocks to be rare... Never seen one in person.

1994 Mattel Maximizer, various iterations of the Supertech 9000, Supermaxx 1500 Arrow shooter. Those are somewhat well-known however.

Crossbows and Crimson Longshots aren't really as rare as people think they are. They are highly valued though.

Shmmee's knowledge is superior here.

The Ultimate Clip Blast is pretty rare. There was supposed to be an ultimate version and, as far as I know, this is one of the few that exist

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

What is that? Does it work with regular ballistic balls?

No, those are larger in diameter and softer, even more vintage balls, as far as I am aware. I think CaptainXavier has some, actually. Think of these as the 5 1/4" floppy disks while regular ballistic balls are 3.5" floppy disks.

Ha! I've got one of those! It's missing it's feed tube but functional. It does work with normal ballistic balls and is a fun lutzy semi auto blaster. It's currently out for a commissioned upgrade to run on a 3s and fang motors. We've run into some flywheel problems though. the old are not liking the new motors. We're hoping it will be able to spit out ballistic balls at or near rival speeds. Once all that's done i might try to mod it up with a hopper to turn it into a ballistic caliber nemisis.

I'm curious about the size of this thing. Do you have any pictures of it out of the box? The perspective on that rendering is so cranked, its hard to get a feel of its proportions.

Its a decent size. Roughly as long as an x-bow.

Heres the commercial for it.

I've got three Cyclotrons and a Hydro-Blastzooka (from my childhood!).

However, the original sharpshooter would also be pretty rare (first dart blaster).

I have my original blue, plus I've been able to pick up a maroon and another blue as an adult.

What is that? Does it work with regular ballistic balls?

Yes.

The rarest attachment is critical thinking ability.

I really wish I had some of those.

For my money, it would totally be the Maximizer.

The clear version of the Koosh Vortex Tornado X/2 is hard to find since it was just a promotional piece.  All of the Rappn' Fire blasters are pretty hard to find as well.
