Predator

Requirements:
Must be played at night
Must be played with guns that fire arrows
Must be played with arrows

How To Play:
Everyman for themselves. All players take off into different directions. The life total is 1 each, and you cannot pick up another player's Arrow. Last man standing wins.


Ok, The DW clan has been playing this way for the last few days after dark. The games requires the players to be as silent and stealthy as possible. You only have your arrow which adds to the excitement, If you fire that arrow and miss you might as well give up. Since it is dark and you only have one arrow the best thing to do is try to sneak up on someone and get a mercy kill, or just get close enough to take them out without them noticing. Or you can play frog style and what for the enemy to walk right by you and take them out. The game is awesome and I recommend it for anyone who can stay out passed dark.

Sounds fun. I'd try it, but I don't have any arrow-firing guns. I do have a few arrows though, that I could probably stick onto the barrel of my modded Super Soaker.

Thats sounds pretty cool. I supose you could play It with other ammo to though.

Don't do that! You'll ruin the arrow! At2k/sm1.5k pump tubes make a great arrow barrel if you have one laying around.

We use arrows because they are jsut as hard to dodge in the night, can be seen on the ground(picture looking for a single stefan on the ground pitch black), and shoot like 60 feet max. So you have to stalk someone to get close enough to shoot them.

So basically it's a one shot deal in the dark...you miss and you're toast. In total or near-total darkness so that adds to the suspense/fun. Arrows, so they're easy to find between matches. And the scenario has a definite beginning and end, and appears to be one that doesn't take hours/ days to play out. In fact, you can probably go a dozen matches or more in an evening.

Sounds like a bunch of fun to me. Going to try it when our next "group" comes by. Thanks!

Piney, you realize you can pick up your arrows after you shoot them right? The idea though is you're conservative. Like the last time we played this, Squad shot right over my shoulder, and runs away. Bad move I chase him down the whole street. Then he flips past, me, running 3 blocks back to his arrow. I shot him like 6 times as I chase him, then as we get back to his arrow, I shoot, miss, and before I could grab my arrow, Swift's arrow wizzes right in front of my face. I run, grab my arrow, do a 180-roll, and come up, shove the arrow onto my bow, shoot, and peg him in the neck. walk up, grab my arrow, and precede after Squad. it's intense.

We got about 16 matches in between 9pm and midnight.

Okay, okay, now I get it!

One arrow, that's your one piece of ammo, pick up after each "kill". Or if you miss, you have to figure out how to get it without getting killed yourself.

Even more fun still!

Well, now I wish I had some Bow n Arrows around. We have my 5000 (three arrows), the Max Shot (bombs), Triple Torch arrow (smaller but still usable), and I was going to convert the 5000, my Sawtooth/1500, and my son's Max Shot, and the Expand-a-freak to shoot arrows. But BnA's sound like it would be a blast!

Thanks a lot. Now I can't focus on anything but Bows n Arrows.
