I'm assuming this is a yes, so would you recommend a neoprene (rubber) washer, or 1/16 craft foam. Also, the washer doesn't cover the entire plunger head (it leaves like 1.25mm of space) so would the padding still be effective? I'm wondering since the ARs have been removed, and the only impact that the plunger head and the plunger cup will have is on the outer rim. This isn't a problem with the craft foam though...
I'm basically wondering if I need to pad, and if so, with what (from what I've read, the rubber washer will last much longer, but the foam will be a better cushioning material). If it's helpful, I'll be running a 6.5kg spring load.
