The band GWAR was on an episode of Jerry Springer back in Jan 31 of 97. The name of the episode was "Shock Rock". It was hilarious and entirely entertaining. Anyway, my point...

I have been trying to track down a copy of this episode for years. I don't care if it's VHS, DVD, VCD, or a video file for a computer, but I NEED it. If anyone here can find a copy to download or know the whereabouts of a copy of this particular episode, please notify me and I will reimburse you if you can manage to get me a copy. I know this is a long shot because I doubt too many of you even know who GWAR is, but then you don't have to know them to find them on whatever media downloading software/filesharing software you use. Again, I know this is a longshot, but then so were all my other attempts. Thank you, and goodnight.

After several 10 minute searches on Ares (a p2p program), I didn't find anything for you. I couldn't find any sites that let you download Jerry episodes either. I tried though, I tried.

I saw Gwar on MuchLOUD a while ago, and I was amazed at how ugly they look. I love their BC Riches though, the Beasts and Warlocks go awesome with their hellspawn look. Beneath all the make-up and extreme costumes, they're cool people playing metal music.

Anyways, I saw that episode, and I wish I could get a hold of it for you. I would suggest a bootlegging store of some sort as a place for you to check.

I saw it at my old guitarist's house a while ago and yes, it is hysterical, when one of the Gwar guys starts yelling at Jerry, he says something along the lines of "What we do is real! I flew 4,000 light years to get here".

What's also funny, is when Gwar mocks the far more serious dark gothic loser "Kill your parents and slit your wrists" band.
