If the internals work, then you should still be able to fix it. Common problems are the smart AR failing, gears getting snagged, or someone really thing. Is the blaster modified? The priming mechanism, gears, or the plunger tube could be broken.
I'd save what I can (shell, springs, plungers, o rings, and the gears) and keep the rest in a storage space/ throw it away.

Don't waste a good shell! That is basically the only good part of the rough cut, other then the smart AR.

a small gear that is used in the pumpng mechanism has lost all most all of it's teeth

I've got a set of roughcut gears that are all functional. If you want them I can ship them to you.

I believe Worker sells RC gears, or you could order a metal print from Shapeways for the gears - I believe there are RC gear files out there.
