Hey guys,

It's been awhile, but I've decided to get Nerfcenter fired up again. If you haven't noticed, all of our old reviews are accessible once more. We've got a new site layout in the works, and we'll be concentrating our efforts on getting the reviews database up-to-date. Pretty much this means:

News/Reviews WILL be back.
Previews WILL be back.
The NCForums WILL NOT be back.
The Links Database WILL be back.

Concentrating on just a few sections will allow us to keep the site a lot fresher than it has been in the past. Additionally, sites like NerfHaven pick up what we're missing (mods, homemades, forums) quite nicely.

So, you have more quality stock blaster reviews on their way. We're going to concentrate on the blasters which are available at the moment and work our way backwards in time to where we left off. In fact, we've already tested the blasters in the Atom Blaster, AirTech, and N-Strike lines, so look for this info go go up very soon.

As a side note, the admins of NerfHaven have graciously offered to integrate the NCForums archives into NerfHaven. So that information will be available once more.

Feel free to e-mail me with any questions or comments. (apg@nerfcenter.com)

That sounds very cool Andy. I'm glad you guys are going to start reviewing guns (er, blasters) again. It goes without saying that your reviews were the best, and now there's going to be even more of them.

I hope everything runs smoothly for you guys!

Here's a quick peak at our new layout. Of course, it may be subject to change:

2004-2005 Nerfcenter.com Teaser

In case you're wondering what the "fair use agreement" is on the bottom bar - yes, you will be able to use certain Nerfcenter blaster images on your own site once you follow a few simple procedures. We realize our old rules were a little too harsh.

That looks awsome Andy. Very awsome indeed.

The new user agreement for your pictures is also a good idea. Now people won't have to dig around in the source code to steal your pictures ^_^

Awesome.

NC was one of the better sites back in the day. I was so disappointed when it "died." This is great news.

What is there to say? NC set the base for stock review. Noone has come close. If you guys would atleast keep the reviews updated and fresh, everyone will be happy. Nothing like checking NC to find that wierd looking thing you picked up at a garage sale.

This is indeed great news. The community will be complete again when the NC reviews are brought up to date with current guns.

Andy, thanks for everything you have done for the community and good luck with your new endeavors!

My god, the site that practically started me up on Nerf! Good times, oh yes, very good times. Can't wait for it to come back! The reviews from the site we're so great to browse, and I learned all the guns quickly just by reading 'em all every day.
This is truely a good thing. Yay!

eeech... actually I am happy for Andy, because reviewing is a LONG process. I just got done with an electric eel review and all the possible mods, I have a chronograph and Andy's velocity's look right on. His max distances were virtually identical to mine. Except on the powerclip and wildfire. 85,54 vs 78,49 but thoe can be accounted for on manufacturing differces. I measrued max distances and inlcuded mod potential in my review. I only made a 2x4 target after trying many out I found out that only a 2x4 startingat 15 ft (20 if accuracy was 100% at 15) was really needed. I included max range's for airjet darts in the old guns and have all the airzone/larami( ballgun being bought now) guns reviewed. What formatting software did you use, Andy, cuz windows paint doesn't seem to fit the bill. I have relative value ratings w/ specific prices to describe how much a used version or NIB is worth. After finishing many guns I have a great deal of respect for And and what he's done and how incrediably similiar his results were to mine. A job well done I may say.

Andy, thanks so much for bringing these back. Especially considering you are updating reviews. Those really helped a shitload before I modded guns. And after even. One question though, is the same old TeamNC gonna review the guns, or just you, or do you have a new team set up?

It'll be nice to have the NC site back as the excellent reference resource it once was. Lookingforward to updates.

WTF???

It would be cool if you used ellipses to separate parts of your messages, so as to imply that you are, in fact, breaking up the original message. I'm not sure where the "WTF" comes from... Those lines have been out for a long enough period of time to test.

Good to see you're back Andy, and good to see you're bringing an awesome resource back online. Especially excited about the forum content fusion. There was some good history on those HDD's.

WTF???

If you look at the N-Strike dvd, you'll see that there are in fact 3 more guns being added to the N-Strike line. Hence, it's a "line" of blasters. No, we haven't tested the three more blasters, they aren't out yet (sorta).

I'm fairly certain there's a thread talking about this. In fact, it's right here:

^^^

I've got a question/suggestion for you Andy.

Since your revamping the site completley, why not add all the old Larami guns, Movie guns, etc to your review index? Most people comsider them Nerf guns anyways and some of them ARE actually now Nerf guns (Airzooka). I think it should be done before some of this things totally disappear.

I know i'd let you borrow my batman gun..

Just a suggestion..
