so I know there are like silicone domes glue dome and slugs and a couple more but which one would be good for NIC because I am going to a war and my stefans are getting really good but I heard glue domes were good but hurt more and I don't know which one to mkae

Best in what way? You have to quantify what you mean by 'best'. Longest range? Most accurate? Most consistent? Cheapest? Easiest to make? Least painful? It's a complex and multifaceted question. Anyone who tells you there is one easy answer is either misleading you or very uninformed themselves. 

 

Slugs or Silicone Domes are the easiest to make, assuming you buy molds from someone for the silicone domes. Glue domes are harder and take longer to make well, but have the best performance in distance and accuracy. However, they generally hurt more than the others. The groups I play with still allow glue domes, but many don't so you should check with your group. Slugs have acceptable accuracy, but they slow down much more towards the end of their flight, in comparison to glue domes or silicone tips. For the MOST part, slugs are a good balance of ease-of-assembly, performance, and safety. If your slugs are getting pretty good, then keep making those for your first war. If you want to try glue domes and they're allowed at your wars, then try some out and see if the performance gains are worth the headaches of learning how to make them well. 

 

For the record, I use slugs that I made, and they work pretty well, but I'm looking for something more consistent because of my play style. But I also hate making darts so slugs are worth the easy factor for me personally. Most people fall into that camp. There is no easy answer and I can't tell you what you SHOULD do, but what I would do is use your slugs if you're already good at making them.

well i mean by longest and accurate and my glue domes is like OMG MY DURT HIT tHE the TArget from 40 feet way where i was aiming and also my personal favorite are these wierd stefans my brother made when he was playing around with my foam so those stefans i call Tumune

What I THINK you're saying is that you have made glue domes and they are very accurate already. Or are you saying that you are looking for that kind of accuracy? I can't tell.

If you already have glue domes that you like, you don't mind making them, and your group allows them, then definitely use them, why wouldn't you? If you are LOOKING for that kind of performance, slugs are way more accurate than stock darts, and if that is your baseline then you will be very happy with slugs. Since you already have a bunch, use the slugs.

The best thing to do is use the darts you are already comfortable with for your first war.
