Does anyone know how to make this work, all I did is remove the dart pegs to make it compatible with stefans. It does pop out a tiny bit I'm guessing it's the air restrictor but idk I would prefer not to have to remove them. Here is the picture and yes I know that it does not have the barrel thingy. Thank you for whoever can help!

It is the air restrictor, if your going to remove the dart pegs in a revolver, you have to remove the air restrictor. It could also be a broken pop out mechanism, but it's probably the air restrictor.

Could I do something else because I heard that removing air restricter can break the blaster

You can pad the plunger head with some rubber I'd craft foam to prevent that though.

First, the air restrictor isnt a good thing to remove here! That thing isn't really an air restrictor and if you damage the foam on the head of the tube, then you're screwed. Show a picture of the general area where it seems to be getting stuck.


Second, define "pop out is not working". Is the cylinder getting stuck on something? Is it not moving at all? Depending on how you removed the dart pegs, you may have left some burrs that are catching on the shell. You have to sand those down or they will snag and make the cylinder ejection (pop out) harder.

You have to pad the plunger tube and plunger head, otherwise yes you will break it

Okay.

The plunger tube may not be retracting during a cycle.

If you take out the heart of the thing, you'll see that there is a tiny little spring on the plunger tube. What this does is cause the tube to move back after firing. While firing, it is moved forwards by the friction from the plunger head, which causes the foam padding to form a seal against the cylinder. The pressure from the tube now can shoot out a dart, and the little spring allows the tube to move back into its initial position (to prevent friction between the tube and cylinder, which will affect the rotation and the ejection)

It's possible the spring may not be in place where it should, if you happen to loose it then you can replace it with one from a BIC mechanical pencil. You can find these on the floor at school pretty easily, or you can just buy some.

Totally off topic but I always have had that entire thing pop off, no nub just the entire piece coming off leaving a rectangle imprint and basically a actually pencil shaped mechanical pencil

You should have no problem with that working. I removed and sanded the dart pegs and it should work fine, do you mean the shell doesn't fit back together?

I already removed the air restrictor so that sucks, but it pops out a tiny bit but for now I need to get home where this blaster is because I am on  on vacation

Try taking out the main internal assembly and making sure that nothing is out of place. The spring that turns the cylinder or the one that keeps it in place may be out of position. Honestly, I don't see why the air restrictors should be an issue... You should've left them in.
But since the damage has been done, make sure you pad the plunger head. It is critical that you reassemble the blaster back properly or else issues like these will pop up. So to wrap this up, open it again, take out the internals, and reassemble.

Was thinking of something else while tired.

Define "air restrictor". What exactly did you remove...? It's really been a while so I have to brush up on some stuff yet.


See my post about the plunger tube not retracting.

If you push on it when the cylinder has been popped out, does it move a lot the spring back into place? That's the tube not retracting. Again, replace the tiny spring. It's important.
