I just got a modulus ecs-10 and have a couple questions: 1 how is the flywheel cage different from the stryfe/rapidstrike flywheel cage. 2. Will the Worker extended magazine release for the stryfe fit on it.

The cage has dimensions & bosses located in very different spots so a stryfe or RS cage (which do share the same mounting points) will not physically fit into a modulus.
As to the extended mag release, it just replaces the lever which the button manipulate and eliminated the need for the button. It's worth trying to put one in to see if it will fit.

For the mag release, I googled and came up with jase3d's (http://jase3d.com/pr...-release-lever/).
Sir brass was right in that the space inside the shell and the places it screws into are different.
If you want to replace the cage I also saw a couple days ago that open flywheel project has there stuff being sold now to here(https://ahalekelly.c...l-project-cage/) Thier stuff has apparently remarkably high fps. Will get back after testing in my rapidstrike.
Both of these pieces are 3d printed and access to a printer can save you time and money. Check your local school and/or library.
