Yo.  This is my first post here, so might as well start off with a bang.

I picked up a Nemesis a few days ago and modded it 2 different days 2 different ways.

First, I hooked up an empty can of quick powder to the top for an extra 80-100 capacity and easier loading.  That worked great.

Then with the second mod I took the hopper off and put the Nerf Ammo box in its place.  It fits PERFECTLY!  And holds probably close to 500 rounds.

I'm completely stoked about using this at a Nerf war I'm going to in a week!!!

1st mod:

2nd (and better) mod:

How did you get your hands on a nemesis? They aren't supposed to be released till the Fall I thought.

It shocked me like crazy seeing one on the shelves.  I'm from Canada and we only got the Artemis 2-3 months after the US got it, but now we got the Nemesis first for some reason.  I'm in Manitoba and the other guy in Canada that got one is in BC.

I think this type of setup would be a game changer for certain game types, even in NIC games. I think the biggest drawback will be money spent on ammo, though.

I agree.  Especially if the rules count rebound shots as hits.  Just walk around the corner with HIRs bouncing eh?

And yeah both finding ammo once the round is over and buying ammo are the new challenges.

I ran a modded Nemesis in the NYCNO war last weekend. It's an excellent suppression weapon. Especially with an expanded hopper and paintball pods. Rival rounds are coming down in price, and I find they last much much longer than darts. I have usable rival balls which have seen dozens of wars. Mengun and especially waffles don't seem nearly as durable.

I'm excited to run mine at APOC

I could see you walking around, spraying ammo with a few escorts using "conventional" NIC blasters to keep long-range players away from you. Almost like infantry support protecting a tank in urban warfare.

If I had the money, I'd probably change my Super Stock gear to Rivals stuff. Oh well, what I've got now work's pretty well.

Loved this video. Watching you get pelted with your own balls made my day.

Can confirm that the Nemesis is the ultimate crowd-control blaster. 100 balls lock down all opponents in range for about 15 seconds, enough for a single flank to wipe them out.

Good for cc, unless they can then get behind cover and have flankers as well to cause you to split your fire. Then b/c you can only be shooting in one direction at a time and have to conserve ammo lest you be pelted, they'll hammer you from the direction you didn't focus on. Their other flankers can keep your flankers busy at the same time.

Basically, be sneaky and begin suppression from surprise if you can. That'll give you an advantage for a few seconds your flankers can use to pin them down & keep the initiative.

So they have them in New York now too?

Not sure where the player got it. I know some Targets got stock early.
