I recently picked up a longstrike at goodwill and was very disappointed about the performance of the supposed nerf "loser Rifle".

I was wondering if anybody could give me suggestions on what mod to do to it.

The typical mods seem to be ar removal (noticeable improvement with this one as opposed to others), plunger tube padding and upping the spring strength to take advantage of all that plunger volume.

Though you'll need to reinforce the bolt sled and upgrade the catch spring if you do that to contain the added strain of the main spring.

I have a longstrike and I decided to install the omw immortal kit into it, and now it works great. The kit is a little expensive, but if you have the money and really like the longstrike, then you should get it.

If you want to be an actual s n i p e r (in case you weren't aware, this site automatically changes that word into "loser" #welcometonerfhaven) you can integrate a powerful air tank and brass breech. Or if you really want to crush the competition, build a Strystrike (Stryfe internals inside of a Longstrike shell).

Gut the electronics, drill a hole in the shell, and attach a crank to the gear. Bam, crank-action stampede that doesn't require batteries, or even a trigger.

...(also judging by your past posts, I would consider you pretty dang wise elder like in the modding community  )

You can put a Titan in the middle of the blaster, then another underslung. It works surprisingly well if you want to pick people off.

Put in an OMW kit; I've also heard of people converting it too an air blaster and even fitting modified longshot internals.

Thank you everybody for all the helpful replies. I have decided to get the longstrike immortal kit from OMW because I prefer priming a blaster rather than pumping an air tank up to full.

You could just put some longshot internals in it,or put a big blast tank in it.
I'm sure if you look up longstrike mods on youtube you might find something else you'd like.

For a cheap alternative to the OMW immortal kit, just place some retaliator internals into it. This'd give it elite ranges for a cheaper price. Other than that, the OMW kit is the best mod that you can do to the Longstike.

I'm going to put an xbz tank in mine and make a breach for it. i think thats the best use for them since its a pretty nice shell but indirect plunger system
