Looking online, and in local shops, everyone seems to be out of stock. Is this the end of the nerf Stryfe? It's become such a staple in the community I can't imagine hasbro killing it off.

I actually saw a few of them on the shelf at my local Toys R Us. I wish I'd had the cash to buy them up, because they seem to have pretty much disappeared from retail.

But I haven't seen anything officially saying it's discontinued. I truly hope it isn't.

Even if the Stryfe it's self will get discontinued, there are plenty other Stryfe style blaster.

Yeah, but there are a ton of kits and parts made specifically for the Stryfe that aren't available for EG the rapid red or the demolisher.

I picked up a stryfe at Toys R Us a week or so ago for $25,but it was the last one. Perhaps the flywheel modulus is the "new stryfe"?

We still have them here in the UK (at least on amazon) with no signs of diminishing supply to speak of; then again we still have old yellow longshots and even the occasional firefly in stock here so it might be unique to the location.

Hasbro will most likely not do that. The stryfe is a great seller it makes them a ton of money so they wouldn't cancel it. Plus the backlash. Also, just cuz their out of stock doesn't mean their dead, the stryfe is just so popular it gets out of stock quick.

I can still buy stryfes from cosco for like $30, but that's too expensive I'd imagine for a stryfe. I think they discontinued the stryfe, but retailers might be just getting rid of the stryfes they still have.

I just checked the Nerf Wikia and it lists the stryfe as discontinued.

They still have the XD variant of the stryfe at my local Toys R Us ( I think most Canadian stores still do ).They cost anywhere from 25-40 CAD (depending on the store). So Canadian nerfers should stock up on stryfes if that's what you like. To be honest with you, I'm more concerned if they discountinue the "elite" Longshot but that's just my personal opinion.

Edit: Amazon.ca still has some stryfes left.
