Well so I was surfing E-bay and came across this, first the guy made a bad picture (got his foot in the pic) second the part, "New this gun cost over $80!!" that part always cracks me up. Just thought I'd share it with you.

It was also rather interesting that the winning bidder made their bid within 50 seconds of the end of the auction. losing for an ultimator to get it for ~$73? I'll never understand retards. Then again, they'll never understand me either.

There's nothing wrong with losing an auction, just losing an auction for a gun at over three times what it's worth... that and believing any single nerf gun will ever cost that much new... the most expensive new-in-box nerf gun I've ever seen was $30. The one in the auction wasn't even new-in-box.

Well, I never said that was the highest priced one with no exceptions, I just said it was the highest priced one I'd ever seen new, in the box, and on a retail store shelf. I've never heard of the N-Strike, so naturally I've never seen it in that situation, either.

Why the fuck would anyone be insane enough to pay $80+ for a pump-based gun, when you could go out and buy an N-Strike for half the cost? As far as I know, both the Titan and Ultimator take roughly the same amount of time to pump, and the Nstrike also includes the Hornet and Scout to boot!

The seller for this auction must be on crack or something. There is no way in hell that a nerf gun would ever cost $80 right off the shelf.

Edit: I would never stoop to calling GAP shoppers gay, but I do believe that they are a little dilusional. I never pay more than $20 for a pair of jeans, and over there everything is insanely overpriced. In my book, any over-priced clothes store is a serious waste of money that could be put to better use.

Heh... don't forget Hot Topic... it's the GAP for people of the goth persuasion. Also, in addition to pants that cost more than $20, never buy pants that weight more than 10 pounds (I haven't seen this, but I've seen damn close). Although such pants could be useful for people looking to lose weight... still not worth looking ridiculous with all those damn chains and crap, though.

The only thing I usually buy at Hot Topic are patches, stickers, and other smaller things. Where else can you get an NES controller air freshener for your car? When it comes to clothes there, there are several places (especially online) where you can buy the same t-shirts for way cheaper.

At my local JC Penney's, they run sales on their tees. I have found Zelda and Mario tees there on sale for 10 bucks. Also, I have found many a good deal on eBay.
