I have a couple of persuaders, and ergonomically I prefer them to the hammershot or the strongarm. I would like to make them a little more powerful, but I haven't been able to find much information on modding them, neither here nor elsewhere. I definitely want to at least upgrade the springs. So my primary question is, will they take the worker 8kg Hammershot spring? If so, is that too powerful for the smart AR? If they won't take that spring, is there a readily available spring that will fit them? Thanks in advance.

1. Measure the stroke length of the plunger.

2. Measure the space available behind the plunger head to the back of the plunger tube. Take the stroke length and subtract it from this length to get the space available for a compressed spring.

3. Use the dimensions of a given spring to determine if it will fit. (uncompressed length of spring / coils per inch) x wire diameter = minimum compressed length. You ideally don't want to FULLY compress a spring, but this allows you to check if the spring could fit in the provided space you measured in step two.

Smart ARs typically don't cooperate with higher output and it tends to cause them to leak.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?
