Cages should be printed in 2 pieces. The "guide caps" are not strictly necessary, but fully enclose the dart during its path through the wheels, and help accuracy. Cages should be printed face down, with the motor holes point up.

These are totally open source, feel free to modify and reproduce these as much as you want, just credit myself and u/qxtman on reddit.

Further development will include higher crush cages with critical velocities >140 FPS. Those are complete but awaiting chrony data.

If you have any questions or suggestions, PM me.

Happy New Year!

This is great! Thank you so much. Definitely should be added to the 3d printing directory thing.

We have added a new, high crush RS cage to our previous releases. This cage has been printed and tested with stock RS wheels by the other half of OFP u/qxtman, and achieves an average of 133 FPS on Hellcats with a 3S 65C 2200mAH Graphene pack. (Tested a RS with stock barrel) The flywheel gap is 8mm. Higher velocities and more consistent performance should be achievable with aftermarket wheels. Cages designed for artifact and worker wheels will be made available once our wheels arrive.

Also, just noting that the previously released Rayven cage has this same geometry and should get similar performance. The other RS cage we have released chronys at about 115 FPS with the same setup.

At high crush geometries, it looks like concave flywheels are really needed in order to maximize velocity, otherwise the foam deforms outward too much, and doesn't give much of a benefit.

Bump for Modulus CAD: https://drive.google...dVlacmhQZmRhOFU

Sorry for the double post, but hopefully this qualifies as a new contribution.
