Can you add "comfort" to the poll? I love the strongarm handle.

My "Because of capacity" has the condition: with an easily available kit.

Yeah, the Strongarm/Mav actually have *less* capacity than my hammershot. I suppose I could print up a larger cylinder for either since the one they start with is larger than the Hammershot, but the Hammershot has more options already readily available.

Voted Hammershot, but Maverick wins because you can play Russian Roulette.

Generally if you're in a situation where your sidearm has to be drawn, something's wrong with your primary, which likely fires much faster than your sidearm. With a secondary, you will also likely miss, so you'd need to fire several darts to make sure you hit your target. And you don't have that fire rate for a Hammershot. I can 3D print a 9-shot cylinder for a Strongarm and fire off those 9 darts at the same fire rate as a Hyperfire, but if I'd choose a sidearm, I'd go for a Rough Cut (same reasoning) or I'd simply spray them with a Magstrike.

No, you play Russian Roulette with a Stryfe

I just find the strongarm to be less durable than the hammershot. I constantly repair my strongarms, where my hammershot is old reliable.

I love my hammershot. So easy to mod to increase capacity, and "dat one hand prime yo!"

It's a great blaster and I wouldn't like having to 2 hand prime a secondary like the strongarm/disruptor.

It depends on what you need, a primary(semi primary?) or a sidearm. I own both, and I will vote Hammershot because it looks cooler and I've just painted mine few weeks ago.

However, I know that my Hammershot might be in disadvantage while "1 vs 1" with another person with Strongarm, because it doesn't have slam fire mode. But, I'm just using it as a sidearm, not primary, so I need its' ease of single hand prime, and tacticool looks on my waist.

p/s i recommend the new distruptor over strongarm, it is much more easy to reload darts as you don't need to press the button and push the wheel out.

The hammershot is more of an HVZ geared blaster, while the strongarm is more geared twords normal wars because of its ability to have its cylinder be removable, it's slam fire, and its slamfire.
While the hammershot has a more steady fire rate, (and of corse) it's one hand prime, and it not having slamfire, which is good for hvz as you don't want to spam all your darts at one zombie.
I also think the hammer shot is an incredibly uncomfortable blaster with a low capacity.
Only because I hate the hammershots handle, I use a double strike instead of that.
Also it's smaller.

Honestly, all three are bad. The strongarm has slamfire and all, but mine broke easily leaving me very salty. The foam seal between the plunger and the cylinder fell during a war, and I was unable to fix it. I had to end up scrapping it... The Maverick is much better in terms of build quality, but the pathetic reverse plunger gets poor ranges. The Hammershot is cool and all, but I really don't like one hand prime blasters, and the cylinder makes it somewhat front heavy after a long battle.
Solution: Use a longshot and carry extra mags so a secondary is not necessary.
Just kidding of course, I voted strongarm/maverick.
P.S all of this was my opinion, feel free to disagree

These both are what I see as sidearms, not secondary's. Secondary's for a rapidstrike should be something like a titan so you can take out shields, Or a sledgefire with both shotgun and s n i p e r shells. Rough cuts are also good. But if you want a stryfe, something like a rapidpistol or other full auto would compliment it. You want your secondary to be used in certain situations where it would be smarter to use.
Sidearms are used when you are reloading, jammed, or your primary is otherwise temporary disabled. It should be something you can draw and fire while pinned down. You probably don't need any other shots beside 1-2 we'll placed shots on a hammershot. If you had a strong arm you would take advantage of slamfire, and miss most you shots making you need to reload while your primary also needs to. Never a good idea to be defenseless.
Th point strongam people are making is that what happens if your primary goes down. First off this should never happen. But if say you have a stryfe. And a motor gets unsoldered, you need something for both the round, and the rest of the day. The round can be won with anything, I've seen triads beat strayvens, and whether you have a hammershot or a strong arm doesn't matter because it all depends on your skill.
Finally I picked hammershot. My first reason was better capacity. With 8 and 9 shot aftermarket cylinders and even a drop cylinder mod. Secondly, the most heavily modded strongarm has a 5kg spring, OMW unleashed solid kit, and drop cylinder. Even that will break in days. Hammershots can have Handel scales-wrap, better hammer and trigger, high cap cylinders, spring upgrades, body kits, and now drop cylinder mods. Also having less fire rate is good since it makes you aim, but the hammershot also can be fanned with a better hammer.

Who needs a secondary when you have a full poweclip DX in a holster. If you have a sensitive enough trigger finger, you can do 3-4 round bursts, and if you wanted to, you can mape it rain darts in a pinch.
