Hello guys/gals,

I have been modifying my Longshot CS-6 for a while now and have encountered an issue which prevents it from shooting. I am fairly certain it is a laughable error on my part (at least I hope it is) but after a couple of hours of assessing and reinstalling the plunger tube assembly 14 times like a god damn caveman I am getting frustrated.

Please forgive my incompetence, I am fairly new at this.

Issue:

The boltsled won't fully engage the dart tooth system properly I think.

The spring begins to compress when I prime 1/2 inch from the when it should be fully primed.

The photos show when the spring begins to compress even though it is not fully primed. I could be wrong and it might be a whole other issue but any help would be appreciated.

Check to see if you have all of the pieces necessary installed in the blaster. Is the spring plate on the back of the plunger? Or is the plunger head screwed on correctly? Maybe something in one of those two places causing your spring not to prime in the places it normally should.

Yeah, pretty sure I have the spring plate and plunger head installed correctly.

I haven't installed the priming indicator arm and other similar components because I didn't think they effect the chambering/priming of the blaster. I am fairly sure its a simple mechanical error; like a component missing or not installed correctly.

Have you done anything to the dart tooth? Everything looks to be in order.

Well the dart tooth is activating and deactivating when primed so I assume it is.

Make sure that everything is lining up in the tracks in the shell.  The biggest one ( and most likely the cause ) is that the bolt sled is slipping out a little bit as you put it back together.  Also, there is a peg near the front of the plunger tube, that has to sit in the small hole in the shell.  Otherwise the bolt won't work properly.
