Is it worth saving lock springs for say? adding on the catches to make them stronger?

Usually they are weak, but if you find a strong one, keep it. There are way better ways to get upgraded catch springs (McMaster for example).

One of my Raider's lock springs was actually stronger than the stock catch spring, if you can believe that. I say take a look at any and all lock springs, because one of them may surprise you. Save the locks, too. They make good spacers for certain projects.

On the Titan some of the lock springs are beefier than an all beef burger. Theyre insane.
