Has anybody ever been to Ocremix.org? It's a site with lots of old school gaming music remixed. Check it out if you've got nothing better to do.

Hey, they revamped the site! Yeah, a good site for fan remixes. Scott Peeples does some good work. I'm partial to rips of the original music, through NSF's, SPC's, and PSF's myself, though I'm always up for a good remix. Opens up the old memory.

"Old memory"? What are you talking about Zero, you're only 9 years old. The first video game you played was probably Spyro the Dragon.

That site is fricking awesome! Lately, I have been working on a few remixes on my own using Acid 4.0. I finished up a remix of the original Gameboy Tetris A music, which sounds pretty cool. If I get to it, I'll see if I can start posting tracks on OC Remix.

Remixes? Remixes? Eww. I'm all about the hardcore shit. The pure shit. The unlaced shit. I jam to Mario 1 NES music in my car, un tampered with. You gotta feel the bass of those electronic beats.

Seriously though, I like listening to old NES music, not the remixes, but the real stuff. It makes me feel like a kid when everything wasn't so complicated, when getting home from school asap and playing NES was what life was all about. But I do like some of the super contra remixes every once in a while.

I agree with xedice. Although some of the remixes I like, I live for the old stuff.

You're looking for Korobeiniki by Ozma.

Mp3z and tabs are all over the place.

I have about 200 old skool video game remixes on my work computer.

You have dishonoured me, and will pay for such degrading falsehoods! Avast!

The sad thing is that I can't even remember the names of my Intellivision games. The good music was all on the Nintendo systems, though. Castlevania rocks everyone's socks.

Heh, I freaking do remixes. MIDIs, mind you. Here's what I have:

Hymn of the Fayth - Nobuo Uematsu
A Fleeting Dream - Nobuo Uematsu
To Zanarkand - Nobuo Uematsu
Destati - Utada Hikari
FF7 Overture - Nobuo Uematsu

All from Square titles. I'm working on Otherworld, but it's hard.

I found a great copy of "The Man with a Machine Gun" the other day. Let me know if anyone wants it.

None of it's too old, but it's undeniablly good.

I think I remember hearing that version, but I lost the mp3 the last time I reformatted my hard drive.

Rags, if you can find a copy of Acid or Acid Pro, I highly recommend getting it. You can do some pretty cool shit, and also crank out your tunes in mp3 format, so you can play it on pretty much anything.

I've got Fruityloops. And a keyboard with the MIDI stuff. Don't need any more.
