new to the modding, but i have a few titans and magstrikes, and the thought came to use the titan tank instead of a magstrike, just wondering if anyone has thought of, or done before?

They're actually pretty different
Titan is made of plastic, and it is a pretty simple system, all in one
Magstrike has a inflatable rubber air holder (I guess, because its's not really a air tank) and it isn't one piece.
So, yeah, hope that helps

They're completely different mechanically. There's nothing to effectively merge between them unless you want to give a magstrike an awful pump.

This is the first thread I've seen in a while where I have absolutely no idea what this guy is talking about. As Slug said, you can't switch the magstrike bladder with a titan tank.
