ok, so i just got my bbb in the mail and am wondering what would be some
good first mods to do.

Use a screwdriver or something to pry out the plug in the barrel. You will see what I mean. I cut ours down, just to save space. Those are the most basic mods you can do to it.

You can also do things like replacing the barrels(we use pvc and couplers) and internal rubberbanding. But you said first mods, so I won't get into those.

thanks, i took out the air restricter and it works fine, also when i do barrel mod it what should i do, do a removable pvc barrel or should i put on a brass/copper barrel(i'm not sure which it is yet because i just found it my basement)?

Saw off all of that useless crap on top of the gun. The barrel mod depends on what darts you use, if you use megas stefans, do PVC, if you use micro stefans, do brass. If you do brass, you'll get the best results with a telescoping brass barrel. See Cxwq's excellent Barrel Selection article on this site for more info on that.

I'm also looking for a mod that actually works well. I've had my BBB for a year or two now, but have yet to find a mod that works well with mine. It may be that it is just old or defunctional, but what is a decent barrel mod i could use?

alright i think i know what i'm gonna do, i'm gonna use a coupler to make a removable barrel and also use a crayola barrel so the ****s fit better in the pvc,
how will this do? i'm still open for suggestions.

like it wuz said earlier, cut off at least the front scope. it will make the gun much smaller and easier to use.
