I've got a 2s lipo running 2 honey badger motors in a rayven and yet it's not shooting as far as my stryfe that's using stock motors and switches running off 3 IMRs. Any ideas about what I'm doing wrong?

I'm using a 800mah 30-40C 2s lipo. The flywheels are stock and a little bit of the motor spinner is sticking beyond the flywheel. It doesn't appear to be rubbing against the plastic so there's no resistance on that end.

You have not given us enough information to determine that.  It would help to have information about the battery and the cells.

The Rayven also has a longer barrel than the Stryfe. Perhaps there is some interference/friction with the darts leaving the Ravyen's barrel?

Additionally, three IMRs in series will have a higher nominal voltage (11.1 volts or so) than two LiPos in series (7.2 volts or so).

I added some more info but I'm really not sure where to start honestly. The lipo is on the smaller side since it's the only way to fit one in the battery dock.

it really is because of the difference in the voltage the 3 IMRs are running similar to a 3s with terrible drain. So it should be having higher peak fps but since it's got bad drain it looses out on torque which means longer rev up time and that the flywheels slow down more when you fire a dart.

Raven flywheels are worse than stryfe flywheels. End of story.

Ok I think I understand now. This is my first time working M with Lipo batteries and all I hear is praises for how amazing they are so it was throwing me off that the IMRs were doing better. Thanks guys. You were all a huge help.
