How do I make templates for working with sheets of polycarb? Should I use Inventor? AutoCAD? Something else?

whatever you're comfortable working in. as long as you can export it to an image file and make sure that it prints true to size the sky is the limit.

You can also draw them out with graph paper and scan them into a computer later.
