I found a huge warehourse for really cheap petg or clear pvc. 1 1/4 in id is only 4$ a foot and 1/2 is only $0.52. It is a bit stronger than average petg so dont rant about how weak it is.

PETG and PVC are completely different materials. The tubing isn't very expensive, but shipping can be.

Yeah. It's better to find it locally. I live near a plastics place that sells this stuff for about this price in CAD (so it's cheaper, and no shipping). Good find, though, but everyone should check near them to see if they have a local plastics store.
