The hotels in that area all get really pricey in August because it's vacation season near the Jersey Shore, but if you go just a little north or west the rates don't change.  The red roof inn just up the road in Eatontown isn't too out of control, and then there are some hotels up in Bound Brook that are usually the same rate year-round.

I am still a very tentative maybe, as I am a little over seven hours away and need to coordinate several more things.  With that being said, does anyone have a backyard or suitable spot I can camp in?  I'm not trying to pay for 14 hours worth of gas and then get shanked by hotel prices.

Couple of things that I thought of after following along with the Geddon posts today -

 

1.) The official hashtag for Apoc is #ApocNerf .  Use this when posting photos or recaps to social media so it isn't scattered all over the internet and impossible to find. Thanks!

 

2.) It should go without saying that remote controlled aircraft (aka drones, quadcopters, etc) are not permitted at Apoc.  This is not negotiable.  It is not legal to operate such a craft on public land in Ocean Township, and even if it were, I wouldn't allow it based on the unwelcome attention it tends to attract.

Wrong. The correct term is "mob." The addition of the adjective "lynch" is optional, but recommended for clarity.

A Regiment of Rebels!  One that is ready to run into and get cut down by nawthorn fiyahpowah.  At this point, we have 7 mobstacles to bring for the superstock rounds/open field in the back.  There are more tarps and pipes available, but not more snap tees and clamps.  If someone has those items to bring, we could make more mobstacles.

Hey you soldiered on through the other wars, just fire off into the other crowd, take lots of water breaks and round breaks if you need.

Cant wait for apocalypse. I will be using a pump action pullscrt... Kane is nice enough to also give me a box of spare parts so i may have a loaner blaster or two made by the war. Will also bring extra parts if blasters break. If anyone has a about 20ft of delrin rod cut in 3ft segments let me know.
