Has anyone done any modifications to the X/2? Searching pulled up nothing. I have a friend who owns a couple of them and we are wondering about possible mods to do to them.

All you can do is put homemade internals or maybe an airtank inside. The system to shoot rings is so different from the dart shooters it cannot be converted. On the plus side, the internals lift out as one unit and still function without the shell.

If you want, I can send pics of the original vortex tornado, I think they function the same way.

I appreciate the offer, but I was able to locate the purple Tornado internals in one of Ice9's write ups. I was just curious if there were any major differences in operation.
