Hi, New here agian.

I always wanted to mod my guns but i am really bad with tools. Can someone please tell me what the easiest mod is. Actually could you tell me the easiest three and how to do them.

The other problem is that i cant find brass or PVC anywhere. I think it would help if someone could tell me what PVC was. That might make it a little easier

We have some problems.

1)You need to list your blasters for ease of helping you out
2)PVC is a plastic pipe used for feeding wires and such through it. Kind of like a shield.

Now, easy mods are found all of the time. The most practiced is a barrel replacment, on both spring and pump blasters. For this, you need PVC, CPVC, copper pipe, brass, or another form of pipe. Pipes come in generic sizes; 1/2", 3/4", and 1". For micros (always made with 1/2" FBR), you'll need 1/2" CPVC, 9/16ths brass, or 1/2" copper. Depending on your Foam Backer Road sizing, you'll need to select the pipe being used. Copper tends to have a 19/32nds inside diametre, 1/2" CPVC usually has a 1/2" inside diametre or less, and 9/16ths brass has a 17/32 inside diametre, perfect for most FBR. 1/2" PVC is used for mega sized darts, made with 5/8ths Foam Backer Rod.

After a barrel replacement, the easiest mod would be to remove air restrictors, which are found in stock barrels as pegs, with "X"s supporting them. These can be twisted out with pliers, and then the "X"s can be cut away with a hobby knife.

Thirdly, rubber banding is only for spring blaster. This is the easiest way to add power to your stock spring gun. You simply stretch an elastic around the cocking arm and the front of the blaster, level with the cocking arm. This will add resistance, like an axtra spring, pushing more air out faster out of the plunger tube.

After that, plugging the release valve on an air blaster is the easiest way to add power to a pump blaster. This involves taking out the pump handle and plugging the over-release valve with hot glue to allow more pressure in the tank; allowing for greater distance and velocity.

Those are the easiest, most generic modifications for springers and pumpers. Any deeper than that, and you'll need a new set of rules.

If you could list your blasters, we could apply the modifications to your blasters and point you to write-ups that will help you along your way.

Also, look for PVC at local hardware stores, such as ACE Hardware, THe Home Depot, Lowes, and whatever else is out there.

Brass is a little harder to find, you can buy it at hobby shops(places that sell model kits, paints, role playing games like Dungeons&Dragons, etc.)
At my ACE Hardware, they have a small display of K&S Brass(this is a brand you might want to look for.)They didn't have the 9/16th inch brass, however, I asked a store worker, and I got him to order some for me.

I think that that is all of them.

I would be more comfortable modding a sucky gun like the iron raptor or the gator.

I also would feel better modding a hyper sight or a secret shot since i have more than one of each. (I think that hypersight would be the best choice because it sucks and i have two. After i found out that the first one sucked I got another for christmas that year. Ho ho ho.)

The triple Strike is actually the easiest gun to modify. All you have to do Is cut off the barrel tips, cut about 1/2" off. Now it can shoot Micros And arrows!

Also, the Hypersight is not a gun, It is a series of guns. i could be a Expand-a-blast, Big Bag Bow, MomoBlast, Or Lock n' Load. What color and size is the gun?

Nice, clean arsenal you have there.
Arrowstorm, you don't even need to open up the gun, just get 6 6 inch 9/16th inch brass barrels, wrap the bottoms in electrical tape, then shove them into the pink barrels.There your Arrowstorm will have pretty good range, and it's removable if you want to use arrows.

You can get bbs, 3/0 split shot, and 1/4" steel slingshot ammo at Wal Mart. I wouldn't use bbs though.

The 1/4" steel slingshot ammo. They have it in a case or behind the counter in the sporting goods dept. It's $3 for 250 or something like that.

If you want to mod yuor Lanard blast Bazooka, then here is a writeup type thing.


Here's a very simple modification for the Airzone Airzooka, which was recently bought by Larami and added to the Supermaxx family. Simply rip the rubber air restrictor out of the inner barrel of the gun. Then stick a micro dart in it, fits rather conveniently. I recommend using newer, yellow micro darts, as greenies, Larami's and Sonic's don't shoot as far. Pump 30-40 times (Against package instructions, but hey, you are modifying it) and shoot. Max distance is 50 ft. from what I can tell. Good one-shot loser weapon if you're in a high place.


And when I modded mine like this it shoots much farther than 50', and you only want to pump it like 20 times. Then if you want just cut the barrel (the wide fake barrel that houses the white one) off. Make sure you cut the fake blue part off not the white part. I'd give you a pic of mine but the air tank whore out so I couldn't use it anymore. Good luck

Anyways.. The maxshot is fairly easy to mod too, you don't even have to take it apart unless you want to disable the safety feature thing. It's all explained on Nerfhaven's mod. Just go to the top and click Mods, then go to the maxshot one. You could also just pry off the red tip and I believe you can fire micros without a barrel change. Although I'm not postive.

Until that comment, I was sketchy. I thought that Badabing may have done that to try to get nukem removed, but now I'm not so sure. It wouldn't have worked anyways.

badabing, you were a stupid shit and posted something with typos then invited people to gripe about the typos. That was a really dumb move because it demonstrated that you are capable of living by this forum's rules but you choose not to.
