Hey guys. Re-entering the scene after about a year. I want to host or possibly co-host a nerf war or three while Im home from college. Is there any michigan(Im from detroit, so somewhere near there is where itll be held.) interest in a war? Im not sure what style, but Im leaning towards SAMBO style(Stock and modified blasters Only) because my friend invitees will most likely have this class of nerf weaponry. In my time off, Ive made some LARP style weapons, so Im encouraging melee as well so that I can test those out. ^-^ Any hoo, please, PM or post here if you'd try to participate. Ill only throw it if I get enough interest.

Depending on time and location, I may be able to get a few people to a war in the Detroit area.

Ok Ro. ^-^ good to hear. If at all possible, could people start suggesting possible locations? ( I have a location in mind but I need to see what people were thinking because I like options.)

As long as there's enough of a head's up, I might be able to drive up there. Last time I did a war in Michigan, Uriel and the gang were active. That was a long time ago.

So. Seeing how my school schedule is running, I think the middle to end of may is a good date to start planning for. Any suggestions of a better time? I want to fit everyones schedule.

You may just have to pick a date,and make a new thread for the war itself. That would get more attention.

 

EDIT: Actually, I'm going to pick a date for a war. There's been FB talk of a centralized midwest war, and I think I'm going to restart Foam in the Fort.

What kind of war have you decided to host? NIC/DIY? Superstock? I think that's going to be the deciding factor for a lot of people.

I am interested. I have 4 or 5 friends that would love to come with. We are from the south west area of MI. Just wondering, what kind of Nerf games/types we would be playing.

While I'm thinking about it, if you're feeling up to it, there's a war the following weekend in Mississauga, Ontario. If anyone has a passport, you're more than welcome to hang out and shoot each other!

Are you guys going to set up a time & date for this war or not? I know it's been about 10 months since the last posting, but it seems like there was a lot of discussion above which led nowhere and everyone sort of stopped responding? In any case, if you guys are interested I'm organizing a war in the Northern-Illinois/Chicagoland area and we need as many people as we can get.
