In light of starting to organize a mass order for Toronto area nerfers, I realized that we don't have a resource yet for Taobao links, and we all know how annoying it can be to scour Taobao for the items you want. If you know of any good product links, post them here. This might be a useful topic to sticky (wink wink)  This will be sorted by seller, or by creator if a certain item is easiest to list that way. A list of seller's stores that have many items of little consequence (such as knockoff nerf attachments) that you may wish to purchase will be at the bottom (the most useful links will be listed alone).

Shoulder stock

Banana Mags

Longshot 3D printed Picatinny rail

M16 Cosmetic Conversion Kit (all pieces, not just the front iron sight)

Retaliator front barrel M16/M4 Style iron sight alone

More M4 buttstock adapters (in various colors)
AFG (comes in white or black, friction fit)

Stock attachment point (hole in back, good for integration on other blasters like a 3k)

LILYARMS

Noted, and added. Thanks for the input. Maybe it would be better to have this directory placed in a different forum like General Nerf? Since it's in Trading non-members can't access it, which detracts from the purpose of a directory. Also, does anyone have any idea what this http://world.taobao....67267.50.mTZWqh is? It looks like replacement motors?

I think it's some replacement motors, some flywheels (probably with teeth), and maybe some wiring and switches although the gauge looks too thin and the switches look like stock nerf ones.

Thanks. I'll add it later as "Flywheel modding kit?". I'm also going to add the v5 ACC darts.

I don't either. Use an agent like www.taobaoring.com. There are others just search on Google "taobao agent". They will communicate with you in English. However, you will pay double shipping (taobao to agent, agent to you). However, if you know someone with a connection in China and who speaks Chinese you can have them order it from the Chinese site and probably pay less shipping.

If somebody wants to make an actual coherent guide for using this site and making purchases from North America, that would be a thread worth pinning.

It actually exists already. Psyk made a great YouTube video explaining not only how to buy from taobao, but also how to navigate the site and find new items. I'll link it here as soon as I get home (posting from mobile). However, the just of it is:

1. Get link for item. Most items are listed in this thread, but some you may have to search for. Refer to psyk's video for searching tips.

2. Choose an agent. Www.taobaoring.com and wwe.yobuy.com are popular, as well as www.buychina.com. Any one of these will do the job, most agents are similar. Basically what an agent does is they will check the item links you submit to them and communicate with the seller in Chinese for you. All communication with you is in English. They also make sure you are getting what you want (color choices, extras, etc.). However to do this they charge a nominal fee of ~8-9%. As well, you must pay shipping for the seller to ship to the agent and the agent shipping to you.

3. Submit item links to agent. This is done a different way for each agent but usually they will give you a total without shipping and an order will be placed through them. Beware shipping is very expensive, usually upwards of $100.

4. After steps 1-3, you're set. All communication is now done in English with the agent and no more instructions are necessary.

You pay that much for shipping! I've bought whole blasters from there and my shipping has only been up to about $30. I use engtaobao.com. It seems really sketchy but it has worked for me.

Good to know! I'll have to try them. It might be cheaper if you're in the US.

Not to be too critical, but you know you can embed links right?
The orginization hurts my eyes, and with all due respect, if you don't want to fix it may I?
Everythings bold, and spaced out. It would be a lot more organized IMO if it was bolded WORKER and the products under it were normal font, and not spaced out.

Also, I'm pretty sure you want to seperate the TaoBao guide in it's own thread if you could. Add pictures and history and more links,

If an admin wants to make the guide its own thread then I have no problem with that, I am not adding pictures, etc. because they aren't needed, the text is enough.

EDIT: Links are all embedded now and font and spacing has been corrected.

Here's a suggestion: Instead of organizing the items by manufacturer, organize them by what they are (e.g. Sights, Ammo, Replacement Parts, Magazines), and have the manufacturer be a subcategory.

Here's what that might look like:

SPRINGS

Worker

Retaliator Kit (spring and other reinforcement pieces)

VIPER STUDIO/ SNAKE WAREHOUSE

Longshot Spring Replacement Kit 14KG

That way it would be easier to find stuff. Anyway, great thread!

The link for the rough cut gears doesn't work. Would this be where I can find a replacement gear for my RS pusher mech?

Maybe, but I doubt you're willing to sit there searching through taobao (in Chinese) for hours to find something that isn't guaranteed to be there. Thanks for letting me know but now that I'm checking again none of the links seem to work. Are you sure it's not an issue with taobao itself?

EDIT: The listing expired. If anyone can post an updated one that'd be great, I'll look myself later today when I have time.

EDIT 2: A lot of listings have expired. In the interest of keeping this thread relevant enough to be a directory, I'm going to remove all the separate links and instead post a link to the seller's store (which probably won't change or expire) and a list of useful products they sell.

Some items are cheaper, available earlier or can be ordered in larger quantities. Some items that are not available on ebay are on taobao.
