So I have those protected trust fires from Amazon, and have been running them in my Demolisher with regular aa battery's. So I am in a war and my I try to rev up the gun and but instead of working it starts to increase in sound then weakens in power untill it stops(how it sounds:vvvrrrroooooMMMMMvvvvvvv) Does anyone know what is wrong, I need it soon for another war so please respond as soon as possible.

Are you running Trustfires at the same time with "regular" alkaline batteries?

Yes, I am, and before anyone says anything it should be fine to do this, since I have used it a lot and nothing has happened.

I'm just wondering if the Trustfires have been damaged by this set up.

If you think that may be it, then I have ordered dummy batteries and the problem may be solved. If anyone has any idea if the trust fires with regular batteries may be it, then tell me please.

I don't believe mixing battery chemistries is a very good idea. it might be a better idea to run the trustfires with dummy batteries instead of regular AA batteries.

mixing batteries as you have will ether damage the AA's and/or the trustfires, battery types should never be mixed

Having just finished a chemistry course on batteries, I can say with certainty that mixing different voltages is bad, and mixing different types is even worse. Batteries work by moving ions in and out of solution, so a difference in voltages will move the different chemicals in and out of solution at vastly different rates. What you may be experiencing is that either the high voltage trustfires or the low voltage alkaline batteries are being completely depleted in a short time, breaking the circuit and causing that depletion.

 

Another quirk of batteries is that they can "charge" themselves a tiny bit when the chemicals settle back into a fixed shape, leading to repeated occurrences of this unfortunate dilemma. Naturally, dummy batteries will fix the problem, although you may have to buy new trustfires, depending on which battery has been depleted (as damage due to complete depletion can be very harmful to the battery's life).

Have you tried running the gun with regular batteries since then its possible you burned out the motors its a problem that eventually occurs when you overvolt them.

I won't repeat what others have said about mixing chemistries, but I am going to ask:

 

Is the demolisher stock?  You may be tripping the PPTC (thermistor) in the blaster if you didn't remove it.

A stock Demolisher can use 2 trustfires without any problems.

Yes I have, it is not broken, it seems some of the batteries are.

It is completely stock, nothing done to it except the batteries have been changed. It also has only 2 trustfires, and 2 alkalines, since the PPTC was tripping with three trustfires and one dummy.
