I have recently become obsessed with modding Nerf guns and was wondering if there was anyone in Massachusetts. (preferably within a half hour of Boston)

my boys and i are over in worcester but my boys are still a little young 6 and 2.... but me and my 6 year old would be interested in playing in any type of game...I have tons of gear and do a lot of modding myself

There is a Rhode Island nerfing group that have wars, but it is most likely be done for the year.

I have also recently been reintroduced to Nerf. I'm in Albany NY, but I'm just an hour from Springfield and a couple hours from Boston.  If you organize something, please let me know.

For those whom need to know, the new england nerfers usually have wars in CT, and sometimes in Springfield (if I can find ample locations) PM me you're personal information so I can have any of you added to the group page on FB. If that's to complicated of instructions keep an eye out for N.E.N.O wars that'll pop up, that's us.

I'm in southern NH and was thinking about getting something going in the area. No reason not to try to include anyone south of the boarder. Burlington / Chelmsford is certainly a good starting place for a good central hub.

Sounds great. Can those of you who have replied to this and aren't well known state whether or not you mod, and whether or not you make homemades? Thanks. I have a snapbow and mod heavily.

Speaking for kidame, NENO's are completely NIC, and snapbows are perfectly acceptable.

Kidame tomanaka is relatively well known. It sounds like most of us up in MA and NH would be superstock nerfers, and not attend an NIC event like NENO. All of us know that NENO is NIC. We would be organizing a superstock war.

I'd possibly be interested in meeting up for a SAMBO style war. I am also within a half hour of Boston; please contact me at pookman40@gmail.com if you're hosting anything. I've never really been to an actual war; just sitting at home shooting a wall all day. I'd be glad to finally get out there.

Just keep an eye on the war section, if a war is going to happen in Massachusetts it will be posted there. There is a super stock/sambo war in Rhode Island that will be starting back up in the spring for it's second year. I will make sure it will be posted on NH. 

 

It would be great there were other super stock wars in the area as long as they are not on the same day. So just keep it in mind.

I am running all super stock for now. I am trying to set up some preliminary, exposition meets with my friends to drum up their interest. I have somewhere upwards of 150 loaner blasters and am bulking up on darts so we can have some informal events catered by me. It will probably take a while for me to get a full club going but I have a fair amount of interest and a facebook page going https://www.facebook...29230794072889/I am more then happy to add anybody interested.

There's nothing wrong with NIC or Superstock. NENO wars are lots of fun and great. People commonly come with something superstock and still have fun because attitude, and playstyle. That being said, getting into NIC is something I think you should try before you outright dismiss it, and making your own homemades may seem like a daunting task but there are plenty of guides on this forum

Also, half hour travel for a war? that's really uncommon and rare unless you're the host.
