On the Demolisher, I'd like to know the exact outside diameter on the post that the grin-aides get stuck onto.

I don't have calipers or anything more precise than a ruler, and I thought that this info would be handy to have stored on the Haven. (You know, an "Important Sizes" post, with the ID and OD of things like PVC, Nerf Barrels, CPVC, and PETG.)

If you want to be a total birch about this, suit yourself.

I'm just trying to Sketchup a shroud for the launch-tube to attach a hopper with and I need the diameter for the inside hole.

foam is stretchy be design, so a ruler down to 1/32 is plenty precise. if anything it'll probably help if its a little oversized.

if you're having trouble getting a good ruler measurement across the front of the tube clamp two straight pieces of something to either side and measure the gap between, put it on a flat surface and get down perpendicular to it with a ruler behind the tube, or get a brand new missile and measure that.

and if its something custom, why not play with the diameter a little and see what works best

Thanks.

Cali-Pants, I'm trying to design something to shove over the grenade-launcher's post to attach 1/2" PVC to.

I will post the prototype soon, after I compile it into a printable and try it out.
