I followed this guide when ordering parts. I got the motors in and started the project, but I soon noticed they aren't the same ones in the picture. I'm guessing the eBay ad turned into some kind of bait and switch. My question is should I just toss these in the trash or are they usable?

Try them out. Worst case scenario is that they don't work.
It's like a Hurricane ate a Tornado and shat out a Monsoon!!

I actually ordered some of these motors (on purpose), but haven't had the time to try them out. I suspect that they may need a battery with higher voltage than a 2S LiPo.
