I wanted to mod a super soaker xp 227. I had pvc sch 40 at my house. I jammed a crayola marker down it so it would fit micros. Ive heard from other peoples super soaker mods that u only have to put the barrel on it and pump and shoot (i saw that on a site). So thats what i did but it shoots like 8 feet. Oh and the pvc is 12" long

You need to cut off the nozzle because it restricts the airflow considerably.

ok, I did that but it still only gets about 25' and the bullet fishtails like a money

Not enough weight in the darts.

I bet you didn't cut the nozzle all the way off. Heres how you know if you did it right if the hole is about big enough to fit a straw through or bigger when the valve is open. If not you probably didn't cut the whole thing off. Or if this didn't make sense the nozzle is usually some bright color like orange so just cut off all the orange.

You either didn't position the weight in the darts correctly, you have a loose fitting barrel, or you didn't have a long enough barrel.

How do you make your stefans?
