I'm going to order a some and see how well they hold up. Maybe a viable option for Nerf Wars

My Youtube PageGriever 2112 still plays with his alpha trooper quite often despite owning one of the scariest +bows.

If you order them, definitely post up your findings. Personally I have a great love for those Koosh Darts, the description in the listing and the product picture sound a little contradictory, and that foam looks weak (in the bending picture) So I would hold off myself, and let someone else take one for the team.

HI, I just had to add about both of these darts- black ACC and knock-off megas. I got them both off aliexpress last week.
the black ACC look neat, but my voltage modded stryfe pulled off the head of one out five darts shot. and ranges are inconsistent: sometimes crap, sometimes awesome. they don't seem to be glued well at all.
as for the knock-off megas. the foam isn't as stiff as Hasbro megas. the rubbery heads are a mediocre cast- almost too thin on some sides. I tested them with my spring enhanced cyclonshock and this is what I think: the dart don't seal the barrel as well as the brand darts. ranges are far worse than regular megas. don't waste your money on these. oh, and the don't whistle since they have no hole.
Do yo u have the link for the chunlin darts? They've been taken off of amazon.

http://www.amazon.co...rts bullet head
This should work, sorry for not shorting the link to one word but I couldn't find how to do it with the new interface. So if someone knows how to make a long url show up as a single word please tell me.

LarpBeard - I got some knock off megas on ebay from China. Mine have the holes and whistle and the quality seems to be good.. However I can't compare to real nerf megas as I have not had any.

I've been fooling around with these ACCurate (aka Chunlin) darts for a few weeks now. I don't have a chrono, but I did take a semester of aerodynamics in college, so my observations are subjective, but fairly educated. Due to the slight difference in mass, their effective range is the same as regular Nerf darts and knockoff varieties. We could quibble about +5 or -10 feet, but it's all within the statistical margin of error, especially for Nerf darts, if you know what I mean ;-)
They do tend to shoot straighter, with far fewer heading off into the weeds compared to standard Nerf darts. I have found them to be very good in a modded Rampage with an OMW Final Stage, and in all single shot front loading pistol blasters, with one exception. I have a CycloneShock with reduced barrels for Elite darts. The acceleration is so fast, and the barrels so short, the darts aren't in a stable trajectory when they leave the blaster. It's anyone's guess where they'll go. I've postulated that the domed heads are much more aerodynamic than the standard Nerf design, which contributes to the improved consistency, and to some degree accuracy. Let it be said that the words "Nerf" and "accuracy" should not be used in the same sentence by reasonably educated, mentally stable, normally socialized individuals.
However, the dart heads on the ACCurates aren't glued in very well. When hitting a solid target (i.e. my piano) the force of the impact often rips the heads off the darts. Out of 20, I destroyed 7 in one afternoon. Four were salvageable with a little Aleene's craft glue, and three were mangled so badly that I decided to throw them out. Truth be told, I never found one of the heads, and I think my Chihuahua may have eaten it. It's two weeks, and he's still alive, so I think the crisis has passed.
To my great disappointment, the ACCurates don't do well in my flywheel blasters. I have a Hail-Fire and several RapidStrikes, and these darts do not perform well in any of them. There's something about the way the flywheels grab the tips, and I've dislodged several ACCurates that got smooshed (if that's even a word) between the flywheel and the barrel. Frankly, it's kind of messy. The darts that got jammed were only 50% salvageable.
So, my unscientific but thorough tests have concluded the following: these ACCurate darts are great for single shot blasters like the Raider, Rampage, and Retaliator, as well as single shot pistols like the StrongArm, Triad, and Nite Finder, but horrible in flywheel blasters, probably due to the shape of the heads. For the blasters they work in, they are very consistent, and quite reasonably priced. I've been getting a 100 for $5.85 USD.

Great news for people that don't want the black foam. Mostly me. .05 per head isn't bad if we can get them to stick. I've ordered some, and they arrive forever from now.
