For the first war that I've been to in a while this one was pretty good. Got shot in the lip and bled a bit, got stung by a bee, it was a good day! Good location, fun rushing around in the woods (although the scratches all over my legs will say differently), and great people as usual. Took only a couple of pictures but I guess I'll post them here for people to see. Hope to get to another one soon!

Lot of fun today. Warring with old friend and new ones.
Pros:
Field was pretty good
Running 3-1 all day instead of 3-15 was a nice change.
Lot of rounds despite late start.
Lots of people playing

Cons:
It was a hike to the playing field.
Hard to run much other than 3-15
The late start... But it was fine.

Honestly I had a fantastic time, yes I know the field wasn't perfect but even for smaller events like this, we can make it work. I'll be on the look out for more locations around the area that have better dart recovery options. Lol. Other then the rocky terrain, and the dog shit (a dog came through and pooped) it was a fantastic day. Hope everyone had a great time and got home safe and sound.

This was a.good war to come out to in a long time. Had an absolute blast and can't wait to be sore tomorrow. Plus, I finally got my sister out to one of these wars so she can see what her brother does with "hoard" of toys he has.

Also i found someones green army style "dart" bag. Let me know whose it is so I can send it back to ya.

The Super Hajjar Bros. and Deadshooter are back from our T.A.H.I.T.I. vacation! It's a magical place... This war was fantastic, and the place was really nice. It's such a relief to have another park nearby (at least for me) to get back into the sport again. Haven't done anything with nerf in nearly 2 years and it's disgusting, and I blame Brad, but I'm glad to have come back on this day.

So, we caught up a little bit and had a great time, let's recap in today's play-by-play..."The boys are back in action! They're here fuck somebody's wife; long-dick style

Awesome war, guys. Yeah, the field wasn't ideal for dart recovery, but I thought all the trees were pretty fun.
Pros:
- Finally got my brother to come to a war with me
- Talking with everyone and getting to know them
- Seeing everyone's cool blasters
- The trees provided some nice shade
- Taking out the people flanking in the woods
- Only one of my blasters broke
- Not stepping on the bee hive
- Evan not taking the hit and running around forever
- I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot of stuff

Cons:
- I got eaten alive by mosquitos, but I'll make sure to bring bug spray next time
- I lost a ton of darts but I haven't made any in a year, so it's about time.
- ESLT trigger boke
- Dog shit and bee hive

Seriously, this war rocked. I hope you guys enjoyed Evan and his refusal to get hit. He'll definitely be showing up to the next one. Also, I think if we could get wars going in this area, that would be great.

Are we doing the pros/cons thing?

Pros:
-Awesome overall play area. Small field, very few places where you aren't within range of each other's blasters. Nice open dirt centerfield, with wooded areas to the sides and rear. A great play area, I love the woods.
-Brought my friend along who is getting into the scene
-New players are always great
-So is talking to the "old" ones
-Getting interviewed by griever is a thing now
-Koree's enthusiasm for my blasters = D
-Getting ideas for new blasters
-Not getting bitten by bugs. Never really had that problem
-Hittin' up Philly and eating cheeseteak, yo

Cons
-Being vegetarian and conflicted about eating cheesesteak
-Getting lost on the way out of the park

Would war again.

Thank you all for coming. I was very happy to see so many folks I hadn't in a long time. It seemed unanimous that the event was a success. I feel that there was a bit of a rough start at the beginning with adapting the rule set to the new field but we figured it out pretty quick. Thanks to those who took pictures.

I think this new field, Amosland Park, is an ok field for small wars. The number of attendants to this war is probably the maximum capacity for this field. With that in mind, I think we're going to have to keep looking but I'll can continue organizing events here for the time being.
