how did this guy here mod his sm1500 to shoot homemade stefan megas without replacing his stock barrels? I've tried to do the same, but I don't know exactly how....

It's because Commando is just that 1337.
Well, the SM1500 originally took the 5/8" green Larami darts, so 5/8" FBR should fit fine too. You may need to take out the restrictors, or make some holes in the back of your foam so it fits in there. Good luck.

Actually, you wouldn't have to take them out. Just push the dart back far enough to push the restrictors back.

so will this work only with homemade stefan megas WITH holes? because I just want to be able to shoot homemade stefan megas WITHOUT holes, and also without having to change the barrels.

Well then you're going to have to knock the barrels off and remove the pegs and restrictors. I guess you can put the barrels back on afterwards if you're that much opposed to PVC.
